Passage: Romans 10:9–10, Matthew 27:62– 28:20

Title: Responding to the Resurrection
Text: Romans 10:9-10; Matthew 27:62-66, 28:1-6, 11-15, 19-20

Notes:

What the Resurrection means to you:

  1. You can be made right with God
  2. There’s no limit to what God’s power can do in your life

The resurrection is not just doctrine to believe, it’s a reality to live out / display through your life and mouth.

One of the greatest proofs of the resurrection is the fulfilling of the great commission.

Responses to the Resurrection:

  1. Guards- Unwillingness to confess truth resulting from fear
  2. Disciples- Willingness to lose everything to proclaim the truth

The Resurrection Response:

  • Give up what you cannot keep in order to gain what you cannot lose.
