Hypocrisy

March 11, 2018 Speaker: Kevin Deyette Series: Sermon on the Mount

Passage: Matthew 6:1–4, Matthew 6:5–7, Matthew 6:16–18

Title: Hypocrisy
Text: Matthew 6:1-4; 5-8; 16-18

Notes:

Your motives matter to God.

It’s possible to live your entire life for God and in the end have it count for nothing.

Hypocrite: someone who puts on a mask to appear more righteous than they really are.

It’s easy to fool people, it’s impossible to fool God.

Freedom from hypocrisy is found in a personal relationship with Jesus.
